The number of fabric colours and pieces used is relative to the design and the desired look. The emblems are generally larger sizes, and are commonly applied to the backs of uniforms and jackets. Embroidered Flame Resistant Emblems are manufactured using Nomex® FR fabrics, as well as non-woven materials and hi-melt glue backings which are also FR rated. This creates a fabric base which is fully comprised of FR components, complimenting the properties of the FR garments. 3) EMBROIDERED SPECIALTY EMBLEMS
Embroidered Epaulet are usually worn in pairs on the shoulders of service, military or club uniforms, to signify membership, level or rank. The interlaced weaving process of these crests, creates the entire emblem and design at the same time, in two or more colours. Without a base material layer, these emblems are much lighter in weight and have a single uniform surface, with a smooth woven texture. Due to the properties of the very fine threads, and the fact that designs are brought together one thread at a time, it is possible to produce emblems with very intricate details, small text and gradient patterns.
